| Top : Training : Roundtable : HandoutsMonthly Theme Information -- Kids Against CrimeCrime Prevention is everyone's job. Cub Scouts will spend the month learning how to keep themselves, their families, and their homes safe. Plan to visit your local police department, or have an officer or McGruff attend your den or pack meeting. Pass out home safety checklists for Cub Scouts to check how safe their home is. Prepare a skit or demonstration for the pack meeting about what your den has learned. Dens or packs can plan a service project for the BSA Crime Prevention Award. Ethics in Action modules, "Saying No" and "Shoplifting is Just Plain Wrong" provide meaningful activities for Cub Scouts. This would also be a good month for your pack to view the Youth Protection video for Cub Scouts, "It Happened to Me."Handouts Program Helps Online copy of BSA program helps. -- PDF Format Baloo's Bugle This U.S. Scouting Service Project supported site features monthly program helps and ideas sure to help you improve your Pack or Den program. -- PDF Format Buckeye District Roundtable Handout from the Buckeye District of Simon Kenton Council. -- PDF Format Scouting Magazine Scouting Magazine online. -- HTML Fromat ScoutXing This is a link to the theme section of the ScoutXing. -- HTML Format Santa Clara Pow Wow Book - 2002 - This site is provided by the fine folks at MacScouter. -- PDF Format Tatanka District's Roundtable Handout - Lisa Smith of Tatanka District, Sam Houston Area Council maintains this wonderful resource. -- PDF Format Desert District's Roundtable Handout - Jeff Williams of Southern Sierra Council maintains this resource. -- Word Format Other Resources - Other related links....
