Pack meetings are held the THIRD MONDAY of EACH MONTH at 7 P.M.

October 11-12, 2008, Nathan Boone Homestead Days. Go and see life as it was lived over 150 years ago at a log cabin built by Daniel Boone's son. Boys can make beeswax candles, butter, paper and other crafts. See logs being hewn, sheep being sheared and their wool made into yarn on a spinning wheel and much more. Near Ash Grove.

Oct. 25, 2008, University of Scouting (training for adult leaders)

December 12, Discovery Center Scout Night, 5pm-8pm. This is not an official Pack 289 activity, but individual boys or dens might want to attend. For more information, go to the Discovery Center's website.
